Fifteen year old Jamie has been meeting with Levi, one of our mentors with Krunch, for several months at school. Jamie was struggling with his coursework and Levi came in to help him get it sorted.

'Levi helped me organise my coursework. He's not like a teacher, he's more like a friend. We have a laugh together - he's funny.' Jamie

'I think mentors are a great idea to have in schools. My mentor definately helped me with my coursework and my work has improved. He is like a friend. I think that I probably want to go to college after school to study art.' Mark

'Your work with young people at risk of exclusion is well structured and achieving many positve outcomes, primarily sustaining them in education and support them to achieve attainment. Your passion to reach hard to reach young people is inspiring. I am full of admiration for the amount of effort the organisation has made to reach these young people as well as a mentoring programme, youth club programme providing diverse activities from creative arts to recretional work, you also offer many thematic free workshops to 4 schools. Your organisation has a very strong holistic and young person centred ethos in operation which is 'live' and making a positive impact on the community.'
